The iPalm520 has various massage functions, including a feature that controls massage strength.  If the lowest air pressure setting is too strong, make use of the air pressure release valve or button which would be helpful. Additionally, if a person has a severe form of arthritis or hand deformity, the unit would likely cause discomfort or pain. Heat compression is low 35 – 38 in Celsius and high 39 – 42 in Celsius. A “handy” device for relieving arthritis pain This is more of an accupressure device than what most people think of as a massager. There’s a rolling, kneading motion, but it’s minor. The main thing that happens is air bladders continually inflate and deflate to provide compression therapy. Between the roller and air bladders, your hand is squeezed against the nubs on the bottom. Not great From the description, this item was exactly what we were looking for. My wife and I both use our hands 8 hours a day for work and need them to last decades! Figured a few minutes of this each night would be just the ticket.OK so the pros. So far it seems like a quality built product. Not too big, comes with a VERY nice case, plugs in or uses batteries. Not loud. The glove is machine washable so I’m sure we’ll wash it every couple months. I don’t understand why all the other reviews…
