MEANINGS:
The Triskelion, a three-legged spiral with a central point of origin, is an ancient symbol dating back to the stone age. Though it is strongly associated with Newgrange in Ireland, the most ancient one found dates back 6,500 years and was found on Malta.
Considered sacred in cultures around the globe, the number three has been associated with Birth, Death, and Resurrection (or Reincarnation), the Holy Trinity of Father, Son and Holy Ghost, as well as the Sun’s three month spiral path relating to the nine months of pregnancy.
Perhaps most importantly for the pre- Christian Celts of Eire, modern pagans, and those that follow the Wiccan path, it is strongly associated with the Mother Goddess, and Her incarnation as Maiden, Mother and Crone.
Many believe it is emblematic of the Irish goddess (later Saint) Brigid or Brighid, Herself associated with Healing, Smith Craft and Poetry.
In modern life, it can serve to remind of us of our connection to the material realms of Earth, Sea and Sky.

Five stars I LOVE this one, really all of their grids, I use these for crystals and wall art and each one is beautiful. This one is one you’d want to be more careful with as the spirals are floating and move easily so not quite as sturdy as the solid design grids, but that is to be expected with a design like this, so for me it’s not an issue at all, just something to note depending on how you would use it. Thanks 4th level for these!
Delicate and Beautiful I love that Amazon want’s to know how durable a delicately laser-cut piece of wood is. We’ll, it’s not durable, but you should expect that of something so finely done. The piece comes without stain or sealant, however, that means that you can stain it whatever color you want. I left mine raw and used clear adhesive to add it to a door in my home. It makes a great addition, and the manufacturer packed a mini version of it inside as a free gift.Pretty awesome piece.
Amazingly beautiful To say that I love it would be an understatement. It’s absolutely beautiful and will be hung in our foyer. I’d add a photo, but my 6’4 son is asleep. I need him to hang it. I’m too short…
