HIgh quality manufacturing and works like a charm in the U.S. I purchased this primarily to make baby food for my 9 month old son. I owned another Braun immersion blender for at least 15 years and though it was still running great, I chose to replace it since the immersion attachment on this newer version contains no plastic.
